VDO Needs Your Help

Hey you guys…I normally do not like to do this, but unfortunately, Vampire Diaries Online no longer has it’s main source of income. I won’t name the advertising network, but the network has sited VDO for placing illegal downloads on the site, something I have NEVER done, and will never do. I do post iTunes affiliate links through an ad network called Linkshare (which is perfectly legal, and many other fansites use it as well), but have never shared links to illegal downloads. It just amazes me that the ad network, does not take the time to actually investigate an issue like this before siting it. I clearly do not post links to illegal downloads, if they had just taken a closer look at the links.

But, unfortunately, once a website is sited for a violation of this nature (no matter whether it was unfounded or not), the website will not longer be able to place these particular ads on their site again. I am currently looking into other forms of advertising to cover the costs of hosting. But not only for that. My family has depended on this income for over 3 years. This will most definitely cause stress on our finances.

So if you guys can, spare a little, and donate to Vampire Diaries Online. As I said, I have been running this site for over 3 years, and put a lot of hard work into building it and creating a place where people can get information about the show. I have placed a link to donate below. Again, I appreciate ANY amount you are able to spare. Thank you so much, and hopefully I’ll have all of this worked out by next moth.

Love you guys, and thank you so much for your continued support ~ Ruthie
