Vampire Diaries Complete 5th Season on DVD/Bluray Review – On Sale Today!

VampireDiaries_S5_BLUDVDThanks to Warner Bros. I have had the opportunity to review The Vampire Diaries Complete 5th Season on Bluray. The set is now available at your local retailers and you can also order a copy on Amazon. Click HERE to purchase.

Here’s what you can look forward to in Bonus Features:

2013 Comic Con Panel:

On the first disc, you’ll find highlights from the 2013 San Diego Comic Con Panel. Personally, I had no interest in seeing this. Would have rather seen the 2014 PaleyFest Panel. This was my only disappointment in the set, because the rest of it rocks!

I Know What You Did…in the Last 100 Episodes Featurette:

Highlights from the 100 Episode Celebration Party, and interviews with the cast and producers. Very fun and light-hearted reflection on the last 100 episodes, plus some TVD Trivia to see how well the cast knows their own show!

The Vampire Diaries: To The Other Side and Back Featurette:

The cast and producers explore the mythology of The Other Side, share ghost stories and more!

A Day in the Afterlife with Kat Graham Featurette:

Kat Graham takes you through a day on set as Bonnie Bennett in the afterlife. You meet her hairstylist and make-up artist. Just a really cool behind the scenes feature with our favorite witch/ghost!

Second Bite: Gag Reel:

This is by far THE BEST gag reel in the history of TVD. You will not be disappointed. Over 5 minutes of hilarity, bleeping,  and dancing…yep I said dancing. I predict the fans will be talking about this on Twitter for a while…

Deleted Scenes:

The deleted scenes in this set were great! My only complaint, is there weren’t very many of them. But you will get to see several deleted moments with Nadia, Katherine and Matt/Gregor that you can tell were deleted because they decided to go a different route with the storyline.

In Summary:

Very pleased with this set, and I recommend it to any Vampire Diaries fanatic! Can’t wait to sit back and marathon all of the episodes! Make sure you pick up a copy today!
