The Originals: Claire Holt to Reprise Role as Rebekah in Potential TVD Spinoff


More great news for The Originals! Claire Holt will reprise her role as Rebekah in the possible Vampire Diaries spinoff, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The actress, who plays Rebekah Mikaelson on the CW drama, has been tapped to join the network’s potential spinoff The Originals, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The Originals revolves around Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, where he is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel (The Game‘s Charles Michael Davis).

Holt will reprise her role as original vampire Rebekah, Klaus’ half-sister. In addition to Morgan and Daniel Gillies’ Elijah, Holt joins a cast that includes Phoebe Tonkin, who will reprise her role as werewolf Hayley; Daniella Pineda and Danielle Campbell, who will play witches named Sophie and Davina, respectively; and Sorority Row‘s Leah Pipes, who will play Camille, a human unaware of the supernatural universe that exists around her.

  2. Darn, I was really hoping Stefan and Rebekah would be getting together. Not looking like that’s going to happen. And yeah, TVD is going to be boring without any other characters besides the original characters.

  3. Finally! she was not really a main star on Vampire Diaries now she can be a huge star like Phoebe was and is still(secret Circle).
