Joseph Morgan Lands Lead in FOX Pilot Based on Novel “Gone Baby Gone”

Joseph Morgan Lands Lead Role in New FOX Pilot!

That’s right, today it was announced that Joseph Morgan has been cast as the lead in a new pilot from FOX. The untitled TV series is based on the detective novel, Gone Baby Gone by Dennis Lehane. Sound familiar? That’s because the book was also made into a feature film in 2007.

Variety reports, the untitled one-hour drama centers on a pair of private detectives, Patrick Kenzie (Morgan) and Angela Gennaro, who are “armed with their wits, their street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry” as they work to right the wrongs the law can’t in the working-class Boston borough of Dorchester.

We’d like to offer our congrats to Mr. Morgan, and will keep our eyes and ears open for updates on this new project!

  1. The kid”sbook Animalia did a number on me. It”s one of the first set of illustrations that I remember pouring over properly. It was very serious (realistic drawings) and not at all serious (of detective kangaroos chugging beers), and I found that very satisfying. I also liked that that sort of page layout is non-linear, self-directed, full of treats if you”re patient. I”m sure that it helped to lay the groundwork for my appreciation of complex illustration, comics and graphic novels today.
