Can anyone tell me what the deal with hybrids is did they kill them to take away klaus protection I’m confused a little anyone else kinda lost lol.

Steffy has no right to yell at Elena for finally choosing Damon and dumping him! I mean, he practically threw her at Damon in the third season and she can’t be fully blamed bc of the site bond. Ah, what the hell, i can’t pretend like I don’t think it’s great that he’s finally doing something other than brooding!
I was so proud of Damon in tonight’s episode even though I hate that he broke up with elena! Hes all grown up!
I didn’t totally love tonights episode because it wasn’t a cliffhanger it just seemed unfinished. I loved that they finally had gore! It had been so long since anyone had really died a nice in-your-face blood and guts death! I just wish they had further explained the sacrifice storyline, they had a lot of action which was great but they didn’t explain what it meant. I still cannot wait until jan 17th!!!
@Bobsayshi!: I totally agree. This episode was not one of my favorites. It was very sad. But I was proud of Damon for being a man and owning up to his promise. Even though it wasn’t exactly what he wanted, he kept his word. What has really been aggravating me this season is Caroline. She pisses me off; throughout this episode but ESPECIALLY towards the end when she just casually feels the need to freakin mention what was none of her freaking business to go blabber about in the first place. I’m sure Elena or Damon, maybe both, would eventually have told Stefan themselves about their sexcapades. And now Stefan is upset at Damon, all because of Caroline. I swear she does more damage than help.
Can someone please explain to me how this works? —Yes, I must be that stupid…..so – she is not sired anymore, but is compelled to be as far from Damon as possible??? — would it still be possible for her to be with him or is that it???? — I don’t get the writers’ bias……2 episodes of Delena relationship??? That’s it?? –wow – Are we going to have to stomach rage from Stefan and then walking away, Damon walking away and Elena once again on her own? – thanks for the teasers guys!

Now that the sacrifice is done and Proff Shane got his way with everyone….does that mean it’s his turn to get Klaus. From what I understand Klaus has to be buried in place of Sirus?????? This is the cure???? Reminds me a bit about the joke that Klaus and Elijah had amongst themselves regarding the sacrifice of the doppleganger and the moonstone don’t you think???? Or did I miss the whole meaning of this episode……if I am wrong can someone clarify this for me…………..but all and all THE BEST EPISODE YET………Klaus and the slaughtering was fantastic…….the music was amazing….and what was that tease in the spoilers about Elena kissing Damon didn’t see that part what happened did I miss it!!!!!!!!!!???????? And wow April you go girl…there is definitly something up with her
At the end of the episode I was let down but after sleeping on it, a lot happened that is going to propell these stories further.

Totally boring that it was Tylers mother who died.. although I am super glad that it wasn’t Tyler. But not very shocking.
REally love how the Damon and Elena stuff played. He had to unsire her if there is any hope of their relationship being real, to Damon especially and he did the right thing. So now there is room for them to start over and know that what is going on is sincere. A little confused because if he does what she tells him it isn’t really like the bond is broken just that he TOLD her to go home and not think about him… more questions then answers for me on that one.
WOW Klaus was pretty creepy tonight Covered in blood, chopping heads off, walking around like a derranged killer. Loved the scene of him and Stefan these 2 are great together and love that they have such a history. Stefan really got it,, they are all killers and have all killed so really why do they think they are so much better then him? Great scenes!!!
I think Caroline is being a really good friend to Stefan. It wasn’t right of Damon to lie to Stefan, and if you have a friend that will tell you the truth even when it hurts that is special. I think she did the right thing telling Stefan he deserved to know his bro is banging his ex. So now he can maybe get on with something else in his life. And can’t wait for the scenes when he gets mad at Elena. They need a little more closure in my opinion before she and Damon can have a real relationship without any guilt. So although she may have bailed on keeping the secret for Elena right now sometimes it is a judgement call on what you think is right and she and Stefan are kind of each other’s bf’s right now so I applaud her for telling him.
So not really what I expected of this episode kind of a let down but I also now dont have to pine away the next 4 weeks because of some crazy cliffhanger… HAHA

It’s actually 5 weeks hiatus, but who’s counting, lol. Can’t wait to see Stefan finally telling Elena off! It’s been a long time coming. I hope this means he finally lets her go and moves the hell on from her. He needs to stop worring about her dumb butt. Sadly, though, the writers on the show seem to be majorly stuck on the stupid triangle, so I doubt Stefan will actually move on. *Sigh*
I don’t care bout the love triangle at this point I’m juat trying to figure out what the hell is going on with silas klaus killing the hybrids why Shane needed that I’m not sure what they were getting at I have loved all episodes this season I thought they’ve been well done but this episode was a little of a Let down too many storys not enough time. I loved klaus and the killing. And what was as damon says Professor shady pants doing talking to jeremey when no one was around anyone else catch that. And I’m ready for more Bonnie story also she’s been missing to much..
I think that shane was the one who killed Silas! It’s awful how he is using Bonnie, he’s learning her Expression and that’s why those hybrids had to be dead.
Damon was really strong this episode, but I hate the ‘break up’ thing, it’s just not fair.
I loveeeed the Bonnie and Jeremy scenes!
I have a few thoughts:
Professor Shane has to be connected to the supernatural in some other way than simply “searching for knowledge”. Whether he be the one who killed silas, maybe Silas’ son looking to avenge his father, who knows but there’s definitely more than what meets the eye. The connection with the 12 council members dead and now 12 hybrids is not a coincidence. The witch in New Orleans did say that her mother needed 12 people dead in order to start practicing expression. Professor Shane is trying to get Bonnie into some really dark magic if she needs 12 humans and 12 hybrids… But, how does that help the professor? The cure/silas has to be connected to it too. Maybe you need really dark magic to bring Silas back or to get the cure working?
I think the whole sire thing is strange and even though i liked seeing Damon and elena together, I’m glad its over. I had a hard time just watching them because I would sit there analyzing them and there was just too many times that Elena disagreed with something he said and i would get all confused. I hope they now put the whole love triangle to rest, quite honestly, I’m bored of it. In a town like Mystic Falls, there’s so many more interesting stories to be told than just “who is Elena with today and how do the brothers feel about it”. I really want those three to just back off for a bit and let things slowly rekindle.
Despite Caroline’s best effort, I think she’s starting to like Klaus… I wonder how that’s gonna play out now that Klaus is bent on having Tyler dead hah. And I like that Rebecca is back. I hope her and Klaus have an epic fight.
I really hope they don’t forget Caroline’s plan about putting Klaus into Rebecca’s body and staking her…. In my opinion, it’s not really about him deserving to die because he’s bad, but more about him being more powerful than them and not on their side. To protect themselves and their families, they need to put him down!
And Lastly, I want Katharine back!!!! Best character in the whole show, bring her back! Elena is such a boring character, either give her some more ferocity now that she is a vampire or give me Katherine. I would absolutely love it if Elena got attacked by someone and just tore them apart…. Make her enjoy being a vampire. Caroline became a much better character when she changed, I hoped the same would happen to Elena.
This is my understanding of last night. Elena is still sired to Damon, there is currently no cure for that. He told her to go home, but he didn’t tell her to forget him, stay away forever, or to stop caring for him. He doesn’t want to sleep with her not knowing if she really wants him or is only doing it to make him happy. That wasnt a break up or an end IMO. It was another Delena on hold tease. That she kissed him good bye said to me that her romantic feelings remain unchanged.
I suspect with a been there done that yawn, that Delena will be on hold until the bond is broken and then Elena will still love Damon, but will remember her feelings for Stefan and spend the last years of the show single and undecided.
As for hybrids, lt night I thought Klaus was in on the plan to kill them to get the cure because it looked like he used the magic sword. But today, I think Hayley told him of the uprising and he killed them (not knowing he was being played) to save his own life. Someon played Klaus woo hoo!
Still think Shane is Silas, he tells that story with too much emotion.
I do think Stefan as a right to be mad at Elena next week. She jumped in bed with Damon 24 hours after their break up and he is Stefan’s brother. It was a bit heartless. However, Stefan spent all that time blaming the sire bond so that Damon would leave Elena, but now wants to blame her personally for what could have been the effect of the bond. Fair and yet not fair.
Caroline got on my nerves betraying everyone to Stefan. She sold outs.tyler to him then after promising to let Elena tell Stefan about Damon, led Stefan to the discovery he self. Elena was her friend land Tyler her boyfriend before she became Stefan’s sober coach, I found what she did really shady.
Damon told Elena to go home. He didn’t break up with her or break the sire bond…I think he is biding his time.
@Mon you are not stupid..its a lot to keep track of. Damon did not compel her. When two are sired the “newbie vamp” (Elena) wants to please her “maker” (Damon cuz she was turned with his blood) and will do basically whatever she is told to make him happy. Its a bit different than compulsion.
Unfortunately Caroline is being a better friend to Stefan than she is to Elena. Damon and Elena slept together before they knew they were sired but of course Damon will be clalled the bad guy. I love Stefan but he needs to butt out.
I don’t think Klaus has a clue he was just used as a pawn in a sacrifice. I think Hayley told him that the Hybrids were unsired and plotting against him and goaded him into killing them all. And let me just say that he was so completely bad ass scary with the sword and ripping out hearts yet hot as hell at the same time. O Holy Night which was playing during the slaughter is my favorite xmas song!!! Joseph Morgan is a phenomonal actor OMG. And the whole Silas story has me stumped.
Although it wasn’t super shocking I loved it when he killed Tyler’s mother…I know I am sick! LOL Does ANYONE in MF have freaking parents anymore besides Caroline’s mother???? Haha
And my last two cents…April is a dimwhit and i hate her stupid face. LOLLLL
@Nikola I totally agree that Katherine should come back! I loved her too! But sadly I don’t think they can make Elena like her bc she’s too compassionate and that’s her main quality… I really wish that she’d just turn off her humanity and become a Katherine 2.0! And then Steffy and Damon will have to save her but they define saving her totally different now! Damon’s love for her is so much more true bc he loves her no matter what and Steffy loves her only when she’s a human (and I know the site bond thing also played a part in that but…)
@Katerina don’t worry, you’re not alone! Klaus is awesome and his killing scene with the music was epic and prolly the best scene in the episode! (the blood made it all the better btw)
I still think Caroline is one of the best characters and best vampires! I don’t hate her for telling Stefan about Tyler’s plan and about delena bc she was trying to prioritize and be a good friend! I love her and stefans relationship! I almost want them to get together but then I remember I’m all for Klaroline!
I hope they don’t put Stefan and Elena back together. They need to bring in a new girl for Stefan. Let Damon keep Elena.
Caroline didn’t actually tell Stefan that Elena slept with Damon, she just didn’t answer his question, her silence gave him the answer that he needed.
I was a Stefan and Elena fan now I can’t stand Elena.
I will still look at Vampire Diaries, just not the Elena part.

I can’t wait for Stefan to be angry at Elena and just walk away from her.
I know they are broken up, but damn 24 hours of breaking up she slept with his brother.
