Because in the Vampire Diaries Elena had Blonda hair and Blue eyes and Bonnie was from Ireland. And the young ladys that you cast as Elena and Bonnie do not match the novels. So there you have it. It looks great! I really am excited to see Ian back on primetime TV. He was a fave of mine on LOST. Everybody seems to be doing a fantastic job, and I'm just psyched about the fall!!!
