Join Kaylie in Uniting the The Vampire Diaries Fandom!

One of my really good friends Kaylie, brought something to all of our attention the other night. She expressed her concern in a video that she prepared about The Vampire Diaries fandom, and how she felt it has changed since last season. Here’s her video and below a message from Kaylie. She has created a brand new Twitter support called @WeMetThroughTVD. And last night she caused quite a twitter storm as she tweeted “thank yous” to all the TVD fansites and Twitter supports for TVD. I know the message she sent to me expressing her appreciation for all the hard work I put into the site really made my heart swell. And she got us all to thinking and remembering why we are all here.

Hey everyone, it’s Kaylie, owner/creator of @WeMetThroughTVD Twitter account. I am here to let you know what the account is for. WeMetThroughTVD is an anti-competition, all loving account for all The Vampire Diaries Fansite fans/family. This twitter page is a page you can go to for positivity and love. I am here to help make a difference, and every follow I get, and every tweet I receive from you, is YOU helping make a difference too! Each week on @WeMetThroughTVD there will be a new goal. For example this weeks goal is to: Tell every TVD Fansite you come across how much you appreciate the hard work and effort they put into supporting TVD and that you know it isnt easy but thank you. Its amazing how far a simply thank you can go. We can make a difference. The only reason The Vampire Diaries is what it is, is because of the fans! We are a family, and I never want to lose that. So this is me, helping make a difference. Will you help too? To join the team go to @WeMetThroughTVD. I cant wait to see and talk to you! Thank you so much!

Ruthie took her passion for The Vampire Diaries books and started Vampire Diaries Online in February 2009. After 10 years online, she continues to engage with fellow TVD fans here and on Twitter, sharing in the love of The Vampire Diaries. #TVDForever
