Update: I originally thought this was the promo for the next episode, but now after viewing it a few times, I realize that it is probably a compilation of scenes over the next few episodes. The Vampire Diaries returns to the CW January 21st 2010!

00:04 Elena and Stefan linking arms! LOVE is back in the air! : ) Finally, Elena confronts Stefan. Question though: Are some of the clips in this promo from Bloodlines? because some of themlook like it could be from the ep 12-13—>Pearl/Kelley Hu (00:14) and Elena is dressed the same like the new CW connect video (sockhop)

No, all of these scenes look new! Bonnie in the tomb, talking to Damon about trying to kill her, Matt & Caroline kissing, Jeremy talking about “no such thing as vampires.” Even though they ruined the cliffhanger of Elena screaming at the scary guy walking to her by showing her talking to Stefan about looking like Katherine, I still can not wait for the show to come back!

If these are suppose to be the new/ cene’s of the upcoming episodes, and Elena is still alive, then who was the person in the at the end of the last episode that was shown getting up after the accident and walking over toward elena?????
Any idea’s because i’m coming up blank!
