Early viewing figures are showing that The Vampire Diaries made a decent debut in the UK, check out the info via Digital Spy.
The Vampire Diaries made a decent UK debut last night, early viewing figures show.
The series premiere of the teen drama, which stars Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev, pulled in 847k (3.5%) for ITV2 during the 9pm hour. The second episode, which aired immediately afterwards at 10pm, managed 583k (3.1%).
A further 133k (0.7%) and 134k (1.3%) tuned in on ITV2+1 during the 10pm and 11pm hours.
VD easily topped the double-episode opener of Sky1′s Caprica, which interested 169k (0.7%) and 134k (0.7%) at 9pm and 10pm respectively.
