EW‘s Michael Ausiello reported today that Sean Faris (Formerly of Reunion) will join the cast of The Vampire Diaries! Check out the scoop!
 Thirsty for some Vampire Diaries scoop? Former Reunion eye candy Sean Faris is sinking his teeth into a juicy multi-episode arc on the fangtastic CW hit, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Faris will play Ben, an ex-high school football star-turned-bartender at the Mystic Grill. “He’s Matt’s buddy,” says a Vampire insider. “He gets entangled in the group when a broke Matt takes a job at the Mystic Grill.”
The Vamp source also hints at a possible romance between Ben and one of the show’s females. But which one? Let the speculation begin in the comments!

It could be Caroline, considering that it looks like they’re trying to get her and Matt together. Maybe they want a bit of a conflict.
I highly doubt it’s Elena because 3 boy interests is way too much! And Bonnie is probably a safe choice since she doesn’t have any male interest going on, but they seem to be focusing her story on the witch aspect.

Yeah, I was thinking Jenna, since he’s older, but she seemed to be cozying up to the new history teacher in the stills from the next episode, so I don’t know.
He has multiple episodes. hmmm…If Elena breaks up with Stefen, she could meet him and have a few dates, then he turns out not to be a nice guy and Stefen is there to save her. They might use that part of the book that was Tyler going after Elena and use this guy instead.
Time to make Stefen jealous! That would be interesting.

I hope Elena breaks up with Stefan, and then she is trying to get over him and meet`s Ben. Then they date and he turns out to be a bad guy and Stefan comes to her resue. And i`m totally agreeing whit Megan!! like she said: TIME TO MAKE STEFAN JEALOUS!!:D by the way: i don`t hope Ben ends up whit Caroline, she and Mat shoud be together…
