Many of you know I attended Walker Stalker in Nashville, TN this past weekend as press. Amazing experience. One of the best conventions I’ve ever attended. The staff attended to my every need. Thanks Walker Stalker for such a wonderful time and this opportunity to cover The Vampire Diaries portion of your event!

As you know, Ian Somerhalder was in attendance. Paul Wesley unfortunately could not make it because he has been cast in an off-broadway play. So congrats to Paul on that, so excited for you! You can find details on that over at Paul Wesley Chronicles.

Here’s a short video of Ian entering the stage at Walker Stalker Nashville.

One of the first questions asked by a fan in the audience was “Will Season 8 be the last for The Vampire Diaries”.

Ian responded “For me, yes. My role is shifting in the show and we have a lot to do.” (Since, The CW has said that no decision has been made in regards to the end of the show.) via FanFest.com

Here are some other highlights from the panel:

Also, had a chance to make the dreams come true of my The Originals Online recapper, Allison and her daughter.
