Bite On This, a weekly podcast and blog dedicated to The Vampire Diaries, had an opportunity to interview the music supervisor for The Vampire Diaries, Chris Mollere. Chris Mollere is also currently the music supervisor for Pretty Little Liars, and previously shows like Kyle XY, Greek, and 10 Things I Hate About You. Here are some points of interest that were mentioned during the podcast:

• Chris talks a little bit about what a music supervisor is and the process in choosing music for each episode.

They are working on an official Vampire Diaries soundtrack right now and it is tentatively scheduled for release in October!
