Thanks to the ever-reliable MiI2aCIe for posting the preview for Episode 2.17 “Know Thy Enemy”. Unfortunately, the episode won’t be airing until April 7th, after a 6 week long hiatus. But from that point on, non-stop episodes until the season finale May 12th.
Thanks to Spoiler TV for posting the CW Primetime Schedule for the next few weeks and thanks to Vampire Diaries Source for reminding me I needed to post this. Just to give you guys an idea as to how the next few episodes will fall into place.
November 4th – Episode 2.08 “Rose”
November 11th – Episode 2.09 “Katerina”
3 Week Break for Thanksgiving
November 18th – Repeat of “Bad Moon Rising”
November 25th – Repeat of “Kill Or Be Killed”
Back for 2 episodes before Holiday Hiatus
December 2nd – Episode 2.10 “The Sacrifice”
December 9th – Episode 2.11 (tentatively scheduled, no title as of yet)
Now, I’m only assuming that the hiatus will resume after the December 2nd episode, because the primetime schedule was only until December 10th and there wasn’t a specific episode listed for December 9th. We will just have to see. We really are hoping that Episode 2.11 will air before the holiday hiatus resumes. Crossing fingers!
Thanks to Pauline for pointing out in the comments that on the schedule it lists (11 of 22) on December 9th, and also I totally forgot about this interview from Wetpaint with Julie Plec where she talks about Tyler’s transformation coming up in the 11th episode, that they are hoping to take us into the holiday hiatus. Here’s hoping they will be staying on track!
I’ve known about this since my set visit, but wasn’t given the go ahead to post about it. But now, since it’s pretty much been announced by all the other fansites and Julie Plec mentioned in the Episode 14 “Fool Me Once” preview video that the episode will be their “winter finale”, I’m sure it’s safe to go ahead and mention it. Yes, after Episode 14 that will air on February 11th, The Vampire Diaries will go on a 6 week hiatus, and will not return until March 25th. Trust me, I’m not happy about this either. These hiatuses are no fun at all. But the Winter Olympics will be going on and this will also ensure that the show will be on air during May Sweeps. Go ahead and get all your frustrations out in the comment section…
