Wow….what an amazing night. Last night Sharie of Paul Wesley Fans and I held a Cover It Live Event for the 27th Annual Paley Fest Vampire Diaries Panel that was held at the Saban Theatre on in Beverly Hills. We had asked our good buddy Melinda @paulwesleylover to be our correspondent, and man did she ever deliver!!  Sharie and I are still waiting on pics from her and a possible video, so will update with entire different post when she has that ready for us.  But let’s just say she has quite an epic tale, you can hear about it on our live talk show we did last night on Blog Talk Radio. Love to see things like this. Just Jared Jr. posted these great pics of Nina Dobrev contributing to the Teens for Jeans campaign for DoSomething.org.

Nina Dobrev stakes her claim on a pair of Aeropostale jeans, signing her name and bit of vampire code for DoSomething.org’s Teens for Jeans campaign.

The 21-year-old actress is just one of the many celebs and teens that contributed to the campaign which raised over 625,000 jeans for homeless teens in the United States, Canada and Haiti.

DoSomething.org Chief Marketing Officer Aria Finger shared, “We are completely blown away by the response. No one believes in the power of teenagers more than DoSomething.org and they exceeded all of our expectations as usual. Close to a third of all homeless children in the US and Canada will receive jeans through this campaign.”

Hub Productions has announced that they now have Ian Somerhalder confirmed for their Vampire Diaries Event in Sydney and Melbourne Australia. The events will take place on July 3rd in Sydney and July 4th in Melbourne, between the hours of 9AM and 6PM. Details of the event as follows:

The event features the guests live on stage for a few stories, anecdotes as well as Question and Answers. There will also be a variety of events throughout the day, such as auctions, raffles and trivia. There will also be merchandise as well as rare collectibles available to purchase from the dealers. You will also have the chance to meet the guests and acquire autographs and professional photographs.

Hollywood Crush managed to bring out a little chuckle in me today with this little tidbit from Paul Wesley when asked the question “Fun” or “Fearless”?

“I’m gonna go with fun, because I get terrified pretty easily,” Paul explained. “For example, on the series, they put some vampire makeup on me sometimes, and then I’ll go to lunch and I’ll forget that it’s on. Then I’ll look in the mirror and have a mini heart attack.”

Hollywood Life caught up with the 3 vamps, including our very own Paul Wesley at last night’s Fun and Fearless Men of 2010 by Cosmopolitan Magazine.  They wanted to know which vampire cast would win in a battle for blood!

Lindsey asks Stephen Moyer, Kellan Lutz and Paul Wesley, which vampire cast would win in a battle for blood?  Who do you think?

It’s time to spill some blood! We caught up with three vampires – one from each cast — Stephen Moyer, Kellan Lutz, and  Paul Wesley — at Cosmopolitan magazine’s “Fun Fearless Male Awards” at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC on Mar. 1 and they admitted there might be some ass kicking involved if the three casts were ever to fight. And who would win? True Blood’s Stephen Moyer thinks, “We could take both of them [Twilight and Vampire Diaries] down at the same time!”

Vampire Diaries‘ Paul Wesley stood by himself when asked which cast would win. “I would win any fight, any vampire fight,” he said. But, for him, the battle lies within the scenes of his own show. He admitted he’s thirsty for Damon’s (played by Ian Somerhalder) blood. “I would kick Damon’s ass! I’m convinced of that and I plan on kicking his ass in future episodes,” he shared with us.
