Huge thanks to Sharie over at Paul Wesley Fans for coming up with this awesome idea.  She is rallying all Vampire Fans from Vampire Diaries, to True Blood to Twilight for a national blood drive.  Here are the details!

Starve A Vampire, Give Blood!

Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation.

We are joining forces with Twilight, True Blood and Vampire Diaries fans all over the U.S.A. to have a national Starve a Vampire, Give Blood Campaign. With so many Vampire fans all over and knowing we can make a difference if we all join forces, we can make this drive really count for people that need blood every day.

The Campaign will run from March 1st-14th. You can either give blood on this day or make an appointment to give blood. Shelf life for Blood is only 42 days, so spreading this campaign out seems to be a right choice. After talking to the Red Cross, O- blood is highly needed.
