Kat Graham chatted with TV Line and TV Guide about tonight’s episode and what’s coming up with Bonnie and her mom, Abby Bennett.

Via TV Line:

TVLINE | This week is Caroline’s birthday. How does the gang celebrate the big day? In an unpredictable way. And where it takes place and what happens during the birthday is also a surprise that I don’t think has been revealed yet. It’s not a normal birthday.

TVLINE | Caroline is struggling as she turns a year older. What’s going on with her? Getting older is hard, especially if you’re a vampire. She’s facing new thoughts that she hadn’t necessarily considered before. Everything’s kind of triggered it. She’s also in a slump because of what happened with her and Tyler.

TVLINE | It’s been a while since we’ve had some good Bonnie/Caroline or just friendship scenes. Does this episode give you a chance to have more girl time? Absolutely. Girl time is so important. We have this powerhouse female as a writer, Julie Plec, who’s just so girl power in everything she does. You’ll definitely get to see some scenes of us together.

Via TV Guide:

“How Elena is affected in all this really is very important to Bonnie [so] she’s going to be weighing all the options. If she does [open the coffin], does she let Elena know? Does she not let Elena know? What would happen if she lets Elena know?” she says.

Ironically, Bonnie’s involvement with Stefan leads her to an important person in her life: her mother, Abby Bennett. “This leads her back to finding her mother who, we’ll learn, left town 15 years ago, gave up her witchcraft and gave up her family,” executive producer Julie Plec says. “[She'll be] reuniting and working out a lot of issues with her mother.”

Graham adds that Abby’s involvement in the mythology is “intriguing and shocking and important and you’ll be surprised.”

The CW has released the synopsis for Episode 3.13 “Bringing Out the Dead”. The episode airs February 2nd.

Wow…E!Online has some scoop on a new Gilbert coming to town. Check it! Plus some other spoilery goodies…

Pucker up! After last week’s Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) kiss on The Vampire Diaries, we’ve got scoop for you on which Salvatore brother she won’t be kissing any time soon. This week’s episode is sure to be a doozy, people! And by doozy, we mean heartbreak. Prepare yo’selves.

Bea in San Diego: Thirsty for some Vampire Diaries information!

One Gilbert leaves, another enters: a new Gilbert is coming to Mystic Falls! It’s time to meet Samantha, who’s kind and warm, but can turn on a dime, unleashing a devilish side. Regarding Jeremy’s (Steven R. MCQueen) exit, you can expect to see him for a hot minute in this week’s episode.

Thewurzelx3: Any hope for Stefan & Elena?

Something tells us those two won’t be reuniting anytime soon. And that something would be Stefan (Paul Wesley) using Elena (Nina Dobrev) as his ultimate weapon in his war against Klaus (Joseph Morgan).  It ain’t pretty, folks!

LorainnecollinsIs there much Bonnie-Damon interaction coming up? Book fans are desperate for those long-awaited Bamon moments

We’ve got you, girl! When we recently chatted with Kat Graham we made sure to tell her that we received one or two…or 50 Bamon-related tweets. “Oh my gosh! They will drag you into the Bamon world—it’s so funny! There is none of that so far and I’m actually having more scenes with Paul than with Ian [Somerhalder], but Ian and I are very close.” Don’t start reaching for the tissues just yet book lovers! Kat tell us that she adores her Bamon fans: “They’re wonderful…I would put them up there with Beliebers. Bamon and Beliebers, they’re strong.”

The Insider‘s Jarret Wieselman chatted with Kat Graham the other day when she was making her interview rounds, and here she teases the next big shock.

Insider: In this dream, she saw Klaus lying in the coffin that in reality can’t be opened. How long will it remain sealed?

Kat: I can’t say how long it will be but I can tell you that whatever is in that coffin is extremely important to the future of what’s happening in Mystic Falls – and the show in general. There’s a lot of weight to that reveal.

Insider: Suffice it to say, the reveal will be, in true TVD fashion, shocking?

Kat: So shocking. I thought that by season three they wouldn’t be able to shock me anymore, but that has not been the case at all. It’s always said that a third season is the best season, and in our case, that’s so true. This year is so incredibly shocking. It’s a mind f*** and I love it [laughs]. People will not believe what’s coming and the degree of twists and turns with how they interlock the originals with other things and how their relationships with everyone in Mystic Falls is going to play out.

The CW has released a preview clip for next week’s episode “Our Town”. Elena and Bonnie discuss Jeremy’s recent situation…

TV Line chats with Julie Plec about what to expect when the show returns from a 2 month hiatus tonight with Episode 3.10 “The New Deal”. Julie mentions that “It will be well worth [your] while” if you tune in. “There’s a good little series moment.” And here’s what she had to say about the long-awaited moment between Damon and Elena.

DAMON & ELENA: AT LAST! | After several very close moments this season, how much longer can the will-they-or-won’t-they pair go there without actually going there? “We’re not in the business of the eternal tease that never goes anywhere,” Plec hints. “That’s not how we like to tell our stories.” In fact, she promises that “ultimately, there will be a payoff” to the long-building sexual tension between Stefan’s ex and his bro. But, she adds, the long-awaited moment, particularly “what it is and when it happens, may be surprising to people.”

We have some more spoilers, this time from Buddy TV and Hollywood Life. Glimmerings of a new romance? A bro-down? Check it out!

Via Buddy TV:

The Angst of Teenage/Vampire/Hybrid/Witch Romance

Without giving away any actual romances that may or may not have developments, let’s just say that The Vampire Diaries does not neglect its soapy and tragic love stories in this episode. We can even expect the glimmerings of a new romance for one of the show’s main characters. The object of this affection will be a member of a previously ignored Founding Family.

As for the rest of the romantic stuff, you will have to wait. But it’s worth it.

Via Hollywood Life:

3. Stefan vs. Damon: I’ve been trying to come up with all sorts of adorable ways of describing this confrontation — “bro-down” was my favorite — but simply put, Stefan and Damon go at it like never before. There’s yelling, there’s punching, and maybe even a little stabbing. But it’s what eventually comes out during the fight that will really please fans of both brothers.

TV Guide has posted their latest Vampire Diaries Bite, plus 6 things to expect from tomorrow night’s episode. Read the spoilers over at TV Guide.

The spoilers just keep on coming! Both Buddy TV and Small Screen Scoop have released some spoilers from their early viewing of tomorrow night’s episode “The New Deal”. As always…proceed with caution.

Via Buddy TV:

Death

Is it even a spoiler at this point to say that a character will die on The Vampire Diaries? It happens in almost every episode. Still…

There will be at least two deaths in “The New Deal.” We’re not talking about a couple of random high school students in the background either. These deaths are front and center in the episode and both lead to potentially important developments as The Vampire Diaries season 4 continues.

Also, I should mention that at least one of the deaths seems permanent. And involves a meat cleaver.

Via Small Screen Scoop:

Stelena vs Delena. We could never say that all hope is lost for Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena, but this episode doesn’t focus on their romance. Elena shares the screen more with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) than Stefan. When the episode ends, one of these three characters will have set something in motion that is going to leave everyone having some pretty strong reactions.

Proceed with caution…TV Guide’s Mega Buzz offers up a VERY spoilery piece of information…

I can’t wait for The Vampire Diaries to return! What can you spoil? — Heather

NATALIE: When Klaus decides to take up residence in Mystic Falls, Elena will learn the hard way just how much danger she’s putting her brother in. “There has to be a big change,” executive producer Julie Plec tells us. “What that is, and what she does, is part of the first episode back.” Let’s just say we might not see Jeremy for a while.[/spoiler]

TV Line‘s Ausiello has some super mega spoilery scoop for us! Check it!

Question: I want some Vampire Diaries scoop! –Philip

Ausiello: Things get very heated between Damon, Stefan and Elena when the series returns on Thursday. Look for all three to have dramatic confrontations with each other — and one of the showdowns even ends with a slap. Elsewhere, keep a close eye on Alaric’s new love interest, Dr. Fell (played by Paul Wesley’s real-life wife/Tree Hill alum Torrey DeVitto). Something tells us this is one character that’s going to be a lot more important than first thought.

Question: Please tell me there’s some Caroline and Stefan scenes coming up on Vampire Diaries! I really miss their friendship! —Amy

Ausiello: Sadly, there’s nothing in this Thursday’s episode. Stefan’s a bit preoccupied with hiding coffins from Klaus. But I have to imagine he’ll find some time in his hectic schedule to wish Caroline a happy birthday next week.

Question: Scoop on Vampire Diaries’ Bonnie, please! Any details about the reunion with her mother? —Alta

Ausiello: It’s not going to be “all Hallmark cards and cookies,” warns executive producer Julie Plec. “There’s a lot of tension there. There’s [also a] surprising explanation about why [her] mother felt like she needed to walk away and never come back to Mystic Falls.” Plec adds that Bonnie’s backstory will “play an interesting role in solving a present-day mythology puzzle.”

Question: Joseph Morgan recently mentioned that he’d like to see Klaus have a love interest onVampire Diaries. Is this happening anytime soon? —Amy

Ausiello: Morgan is getting his wish! While Plec wouldn’t tell us if the lucky (or maybe not so lucky?) lady is someone we’ve met before, she did confirm “someone will catch Klaus’ eye very soon.” Hit the comments with your best guesses!

Thanks to Zap2It’s Carina Mackenzie (@cadlymack) we have the official synopsis for Episode 3.12 “The Ties That Bind”. We meet Bonnie’s mom! Click “Show” to view.
