Vampire Diaries Cast To Appear at New York City Comic-Con

Thanks to Rayna from Warner Brothers for bringing this to our attention! Several Vampire Diaries cast members will be attending the New York City Comic-Con October 10th! So exciting! I hope there are still tickets left for the event, you can purchase them HERE.

In attendance: Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy), Sara Canning (Jenna), Katerina Graham (Bonnie) and Zach Roerig (Matt), and executive producers Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec.

Here are the deets:

Sunday October 10th:

  • 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The Vampire Diaries Special Video Presentation and Select Cast/Producer Q&A — The Vampire Diaries sinks its teeth into the Big Apple today — a New York Comic Con first! Join series stars Steven R. We Need Your Help

It is killing me to write this post. But I didn’t know where else to turn. My family and I aren’t doing well financially. In fact, we are going through one of the worst times in our life. We need help. That’s just really the only way to put it. I can say, that things will be getting better for us very soon, because my husband just landed a job that will definitely turn things around for us. But he won’t be starting his new job for 3 more weeks, and then of course it won’t be but a couple more weeks before he sees his first paycheck. We do receive additional income monthly for our son, he was diagnosed with Autism at age 5, but it’s only enough to pay our rent, and afterwards we are left with nothing for groceries, gas, etc. My husband’s current job barely pays enough to cover our other utilities. His mother has had to help us so much, and she is running out of money. We don’t want to have to continue to ask from her.

Yesterday, all of The Vampire Diaries twitter fans received some exciting news! Candice Accola is now on Twitter! You can follow her at: @CandiceAccola.

But not only is she here to connect with all her fans, she’s also spreading the message for awareness of Lyme Disease. Recently, Candice shared her friend’s story with Limeaide, a community blog of those “living in harmony with Lyme”. Please take your time to stop by Limeaide and find out what YOU can do to help spread the word about this often misdiagnosed and controversial disease. Vampire Diaries renewed for a 2nd season!

As if we had any doubts…

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – The CW has issued early series renewals to five shows — freshman breakout hit “The Vampire Diaries,” Josh Schwartz’s “Gossip Girl,” sophomore soap “90210,” veteran drama “Supernatural” and the network’s flagship reality staple “America’s Next Top Model.”

All will return next fall.

“Vampire Diaries” quickly became The CW’s most-watched show, averaging 4.6 million viewers. On Thursdays, “Diaries” has aided “Supernatural,” which has improved over last season among the network’s target demo of women 18-34.

Absent from the list: “Melrose Place,” which is considered unlikely to return; “Smallville,” which is very likely to get a 10th season; and “bubble” shows that could go either way, “One Tree Hill” and “Life Unexpected.”

Just wanted to let you guys know that all The Vampire Diaries episodes are available for download in HD on Amazon. They are only $2.99 and the picture quality is amazing! I have all my episodes downloaded and saved on my computer so I can watch them any time I want! And I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve probably watched each one of them around 3 or 4 times! :)
