TV Guide’s Fan Favorite Awards Voting Now Live!

Ok…we did it you guys! We nominated our little hearts out for TV Guide’s Fan Favorite Awards, and landed The Vampire Diaries in 7 categories! So head on over and once again, vote your little hearts out! Here are the categories to look for:

Favorite Actor: Ian Somerhalder

Favorite Actress: Nina Dobrev

Favorite Sci-fi Show: The Vampire Diaries

Favorite Villain: Katherine Pierce

Favorite Non-Human-Character: Damon Salvatore or Stefan Salvatore

Favorite Couples Who have: Damon & Katherine (Where’s Stefan & Elena???)

Favorite Couples Who Should: Damon & Elena

And for all of you vloggers out there, they are also going to be accepting videos from fans as to why you think your favorite actor, actress or TV show should win a certain category. Sounds fun huh? Any of you up for it? Here are the rest of the details, including a sweepstakes to win a trip to TV Guide Magazine’s 2011 Hot List Party!

Thanks to all the fans who submitted nearly 300,000 nominations!

Now it’s time to cast your vote for the finalists in the 12 categories below, including favorite comedy, drama, villain and more!

You can also submit a short video supporting your favorite actor, show or character, which might get included in our webcast revealing the winners.

And you can enter our sweepstakes for a chance to win great prizes — including a trip to TV Guide Magazine’s annual star-studded Hot List party in November. (Details below.)

You can vote as often as you’d like — polls and video submissions close on Tuesday, February 15 at midnight EST.

We’ll reveal the winners in the April 18 issue of TV Guide Magazine!

As we tweeted yesterday, here is your chance TVD fans! Head on over to TV Guide’s 2011 Fan Favorites Awards nomination form and show The Vampire Diaries your undying love! You can definitely enter The Vampire Diaries or your favorite actor or actress from the show in such categories as:

FAVORITE DRAMA, FAVORITE ACTOR, FAVORITE ACTRESS, FAVORITE SCIFI SHOW, FAVORITE VILLAIN, FAVORITE NON-HUMAN CHARACTER, FAVORITE COUPLES WHO HAVE, and FAVORITE COUPLES WHO SHOULD.

Here is a brief summary of the details:

Calling all TV fans! It’s time for your voice to be heard once again, as TV Guide Magazine launches our 2011 Fan Favorites Awards, covering all your favorites in drama, comedy, reality, sci-fi and more! Now’s your chance to bring some love to those shows and actors that other awards ceremonies unfairly skip over. So whether you’re rooting for an underdog comedy like NBC’s Community or want to reward a hot newcomer like AMC’s The Walking Dead, be sure to check out all 12 categories and tell us who you would crown as your favorite of the year. Nominations close on Friday, January 21.

Then, check back on Tuesday, February 1 when the five finalists per category will be revealed and fans will have a chance to vote on the winner. Voters will also be able to enter our Fan Favorite Sweepstakes for fabulous prizes. All 12 winners will be revealed in an upcoming issue of TV Guide Magazine. Submit your nominations today!

CW Sourcies: Vampire Diaries Up For Best Cliffhanger – VOTE NOW!

Once again, the Vampire Diaries is up for another CW Sourcie. This time, Best Cliffhanger. Although, I think that should read Best Cliffhanger(s), plural. Because there were so many in the season finale, I can’t see TVD losing this one! But guess what, right now it is!! Supernatural has a HUGE lead, so get to voting!

CW Sourcies: Anna Nominated for Fave Recurring Character!

The results are in for Most Surprising Moment and the surprise that it was Katherine kissing Damon all along rather than Elena in the Season Finale won it! Now the CW Source has announced the nominees for Fave Recurring Character, and of course our sweet Anna is up for it! So far she’s winning!
