2012 People’s Choice Nominee Selections – Vote For The Vampire Diaries!

It’s hard to believe, but it’s that time of the year again! Time to get your voting fingers ready, and get to clickin’. The People’s Choice Awards have announced nominee selections for this year, and we see The Vampire Diaries and cast listed in a few categories already. And few categories they aren’t listed in, and they SHOULD be.  The following categories are:

Favorite Network TV Drama – Vote for The Vampire Diaries

Favorite TV Drama Actor – Vote for Ian Somerhalder and write-in Paul Wesley or any other TVD actor you feel is deserving.

Favorite TV Drama Actress – We MUST write in Nina Dobrev and of course any other TVD actress you feel is deserving.

Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show – Vote for The Vampire Diaries

Favorite TV Guest Star – I personally will be writing in Daniel Gillies. So write-in any guest star you feel is deserving.

The First Annual 2011 YOUTH ROCK AWARDS is one of the newest and HOTTEST AWARDS SHOWS to hit the scene. From its star‐studded red carpet, celebrity nominees, live performances, and VIP after party, the YOUTH ROCKS AWARDS is a celebration aimed to recognize today’s TOP YOUNG artists in music, dance, TV, and film. This year’s nominees include celebrities from today’s hottest TV shows and networks such as: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries, Disney, Nickelodeon; breakout stars in films such as Twilight, X‐Men: First Class, Kick Ass, Sucker Punch; and music artists from Chris Brown to Justin Bieber.

Ian Somerhalder to be Awarded First World of Good Award at Carmel Art & Film Festival

Thanks to @Mak75231 for the heads up, Ian Somerhalder will be honored at the Carmel Art & Film Festival October 15th. He will be receiving the very first “World of Good” award for his environmental work. Check out the deets below!

09.28.2011– The third annual Carmel Art and Film Festival will award its first ever “World of Good Award” to actor and activist Ian Somerhalder on Saturday, October 15. The award, conceived by festival founders and created by famed jewelry company Tiffany, will be awarded each year to an influential actor, filmmaker or artist who is using their notoriety to “do good work.”

The Carmel Art and Film Festival will recognize Ian Somerhalder during its Founders’ Party on Saturday evening, October 15, at the Carmel Art Association. The party, which is for Patrons of the festival and invited guests only, is part of the public five day festival showcasing independent film and contemporary art as well as music concerts, art auctions, photo exhibits, “Art in the Park” and the “Conversations and Encounters” lecture series. Now in its fourth year, this influential awards show will not look at the year that passed, but will instead focus on what is up-and-coming in popular culture in 2011 and beyond. The NewNowNext Awards will air April 11th, 10/9c on the Logo Channel.
