More Originals are coming to The Vampire Diaries spin-off!
Daniel Gillies is set to reprise his role as Elijah, one of the Original family members in The Originals, TVGuide.com has learned.
The upcoming April 25 episode of Diaries will serve as a backdoor pilot for a potential spin-off series that would focus on the Original family. The pilot will follow Klaus (Joseph Morgan) back to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — where he’s reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel. Elijah, intent on helping his self-destructive brother find redemption, must side with Marcel’s enemies in order to keep Klaus in line.

Does this mean he will not be on VD anymore? Or can he PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do both!
Since they are in the same network, he could do both. Nina could also go over to play Tatia in a flashback maybe.
