The grandson of the legendary actor, Steve McQueen, is the first to be cast in Vampire Diaries. The young actor’s name is Stephen R. McQueen and if he looks familiar you may remember him in Disney’s Original movie, Minutemen and The WB’s Everwood. McQueen is set to play Elena’s younger brother, Jeremy.

Yeah, she doesn’t… At first I was really scared, lol. But then I started to enjoy the idea (just for the TV show)… He’s kinda cute too… I’m not a fan of huge adaptations like that… anyway…

WTF!!! I Really think the director needs to stop at the nearest book store and buy the books. NO BROTHER!!! Only a cute little girl, and how in the hell are they going to give HIM a white kitten? I just don’t see how this series is going to work out. If the girl never exist, she never has the white kitty, and Katherine never gets into Elena’s house. This defeats the whole purpsoe. And I bet he was only hired because he is some famous old actor dudes grandson.
I agree with Kay. You cannot give him a white kitten. Its gunna look stupid on screen. Elena isn’t supposed to have a brother anyway. She’s supposed to have a little sister named Margaret. Does he look like Margaret to you. NO! They always do this with any movie they mess up the characters, the plot something is messed up. Its getting ridiculous. Examples:Twilight, Harry Potter and now the Vampire diaries!*sigh* When will it end?

I actually don’t really care about the changes that are in The Vampire Diaries.I mean, sure there are like big things that are changed like Elena’s sister which is now a brother and her friend being cut out but there has to be at least changes like this.If the show was just like the book, it would be a bit boring because viewers would know who the people would look like and whats going to happen.
I didn’t read the books – yet. But love the series so far! Somewhat similar to Twilight. Yet I like the story very much because it’s not as dark as True Blood.
